Ok my truck has a new waterpump thermostat oil cooler o rings coolant resovior cap and it is still overheating and the truck runs fine otherwise no coolant in the oil or vise versa what else could it be I'm at wits end here
Running it without a thermostat will probably cause it to overheat. Remember, it's a "double-throw" thermostat, with two plates/valves. When the passage for the upper rad hose opens, the passage for the bypass closes, allowing full flow through the radiator. With no thermostat at all, both the rad hose passage and the bypass are open, and how much coolant goes thru the rad and how much goes thru the bypass is anybody's guess. In fact, this might be related to your problem at hand. If the thermostat is not the right length, it won't close the bypass correctly and can cause it to run hot.
You say the 'stat is from the dealer; where is the water pump from? Did you compare the place in the water pump where the 'stat sits with your old one?
Hmm, maybe there's something you can SAFELY stick into the thermostat to jam it open, so when you put it in, it'll close the bypass, and you'll be running in full rad open mode. If it runs cooler that way, then it sounds like a bad 'stat. Just make sure it's something that CAN'T come loose! Just a thought.....
