Keyless Entry Code?
Hey guys...My brother just bought a 2006 Ford Explorer XLT 4x2 4.0 V6.
Wanted to know does anyone know where to find the code for the keyless entry? I took a look under the dash "driver side" but didnt see anything Thanks ~Gage~

According to the factory service manual for the 2006 Explorer, the Smart Junction Box (SJB) is the module that the keypad connects to and that acts as the remote keyless entry system (along with other functions). The 5-digit sticker is likely located on the SJB. The SJB is located in the kickplate area on the driver's side, kind of forward of the hood release lever and to the left of the parking brake lever. You may need to pull back the trim panel or even remove the panel to gain access to the SJB and inspect for the code sticker.
