Steering

I just bought a 08 F-350 fx4 with a 6.4 diesel motor and this truck is all over the place going down the highway with out a trailer on it is this normal for these trucks?

no..suggest you start with all the steering components..check them all. Does the truck have a lift on it?

What kind and size are the tires.

Shock...how many miles on them? Steering stabilizer?

I will check all the steering components.... No it do not have a lift kit on it and the tires are Goodyear Wrangler ATS LT 275/65 R20 the truck has 102000 miles on the truck

I'd check all the ball joints/tie rods and hubs and then the shocks. If you just bought it any chance there is a bit of a warranty?

are the shocks the stock Rancho Branded ones with the fake plastic boots? If so, I'd replace them immediately after you determine that everything else in the steering is in good shape. I'd also add a dual steering stabilizer.
