hi there as you can see my truck died agian ok first time on freeway at 70 then it started back up ? then i took it to ford for the cps recall so they did that truck ran great . Theni went to go start it today it started rough idle going from 1000 to o then back to 1000 then it idle fine put in gear die would not restart then i waited for 5 mins and it started .wtf. and i had ford check it out they said everything good when they did the recall that was 3 weeks ago.so much for that. and the truck only has 96000 on it so i hope you guys can point me in the wright way.....
Hi bigal on the fuel it 1/2 tank oil change has about 3500 on it and the fuel filter has 12000 on it and i dont drive the truck much i dont know if that has something. To do with it i hope that helps some.......
The reason for wanting to know how full the oil is, is that the injectors are driven off of oil pressure, if the oil gets low, it will shut down.
Fuel at or below1/4 tank is generally where there could be a possibility of running out of fuel if the pickup foot fell off, but with 1/2 you are probably fine there.
Ok i checked my oil and its full and checked fuel filter it looked clean can you tell me where the fuel pump is it on the driver side frame rail and dose it have a filter before the pump or just a pick up sock in the tank?

You said that was 3 weeks ago right? It may not have or still may not have stored codes(If you don't have a Service Engine Soon light on), but the live data is what we could use to get the information to lead towards a no start condition.
The only few times I have had a stall condition, were sticking IPR(Injector Pressure Regulator) valves/solenoid. But generally speaking the CPS is the first thing to change out, just for the simple fact they are a cheap part to keep a spare in the glove box, or console.
