true dual possible?
hey just got a question i have a 95 250 with the 460 motor in it and i was just wondering if its possible to have true dual exhaust put on it? i didn't know if it is possible because of emissions and such, right now i've just got a flowmaster 40 series single in dual out, on it and it sounds good, but would like to get it louder was thinking of true dual with dynomax race bullet mufflers with 3 inch tips, would this sound good at all or would glass packs be louder? my friend has a chevy 350 with the bullets and it sounds awesome nice deep idle and nice deep cackle (however you spell that) when he steps on it. i don't have emissions testing here in warren county missouri so i'm hoping i can go with this setup, would just like someones in put on the situation and if its possible which setup i should go with. just getting kinda tired of all my chevy buddies teasing me about the weak soundind 460 next to there 350's would like to show them up lol.

I put true duals on my truck. I have no emmisions testing either so I got rid of the cat. From my headers I have 2 1/2" pipe the whole way, make sure to put an H-pipe in before the oxygen sensor that way it gets a good reading. I have two Flowmaster 50 series delta flows, and 3 1/2' tips. it sounds great. Good luck.

You better believe it's possible!! I've done it on mine with 48" Cherry Bombs in 2 1/2" pipe routed to 3" tips at the backside. Absolutely growls like a T-rex when I want it to, but quiet enough for the Georgia State Patrol ---- they don't look twice at me...
I've physically scared several wimps as they're sitting at a light and I rev him up...you can actually WATCH the poor people have heart failure....plus he runs a LOT stronger!!
