installing automatic steering column

Converting a M5OD 5 speed to an AOD in my 92 F150 and trying to see if it a straight forward steering column swap or if something crazy is needed. Also don't know how the indicator is hooked up.
I think the automatic tranny uses a cable so that should work out fine, may have to fab up a bracket for the tranny and come up with TV cable - no big deal.
truck is a 92 F150 tilt and cruise. 2WD now, also changing to 4x4.
Any kind of info or input would be great.
