memory on the radio

i finaly got my radio installed and it works great!!! the only problem with it is that it doesn't save my presets, or time settings. what can i do to correct this?

u need to run a constant power wire for the memory, usually to the battery with an inline fuse.

you dont think that maybe i just got the ignition and constant mixed up?

could be...i didnt know if u used a harness or not.

If all you did was replace the radio than thats probly what happened. They are mixed.

The ignition power wire should be yellow with a black stripe, and the constant should be green with a yellow stripe if i am correct.

ya i did them opposite... constant to yellow/black, and ignition to green/yellow. so all i need to do is switch them than right?
