Max A/C problem

Max A/C problem

Hi there, hoping some one here can give me some advice. When i use the max a/c setting, sometimes after a few minutes I hear a little thud and then all the air starts coming out of the defrost vents. This doesnt happen when using the regular a/c setting. Any suggestions?

This happens when you load the engine, right? It's a vacuum leak. Check the white line under the hood near the passenger side of the firewall. And the vacuum reservoir glued to the side of the evaporator housing.

Peter, you are the man! It was the white vacuum line, it was badly deteriorated. I cut away the petrified part, rerouted it a bit, and it is fixed. Thanks for your advice.
