My First Ford
Hello everybody, I just got my first vehicle and it happens to be a 1978 Ford F-250 Ranger Camper Special with a 460ci/7.5L that I drove off the lot for $1400. 
It's relatively rust free besides the bed and a few other spots that are going to be taken care of when the summer finally decides to come here in Seattle. It has a power steering fluid leak, and the parking brake just gave out. This is a father-son project truck that I want to get running like a top. I've got a few questions and will post up within a few days.

I hope you are ready for 7mpg on a good day going downhill. LOL! I had a '79 extended cab camper special with a 460 once--won't be doing that again. Still, if you're happy with it that's all that matters. Well, that and you have to post some pics or you've made all this up!

Ps leak common at the swivel fitting or at the steerbox input itself and e brake cable might just be broke inside the brake drum.
Not to hard to fix either, and a father and son deal sounds like a great idea.
