Hello everybody, I just got my first vehicle and it happens to be a 1978 Ford F-250 Ranger Camper Special with a 460ci/7.5L that I drove off the lot for $1400. It's relatively rust free besides the bed and a few other spots that are going to be taken care of when the summer finally decides to come here in Seattle. It has a power steering fluid leak, and the parking brake just gave out. This is a father-son project truck that I want to get running like a top. I've got a few questions and will post up within a few days.
I hope you are ready for 7mpg on a good day going downhill. LOL! I had a '79 extended cab camper special with a 460 once--won't be doing that again. Still, if you're happy with it that's all that matters. Well, that and you have to post some pics or you've made all this up!
