Oil Filter Location?
Hi,
I just bought a 1997 ford F150 Lariat 4X4 extended cab with the 5.4 L engine. The oil filter is mounted on the frame under the drivers front fender. Very easy to get to. Is this stock? If it isn't I feel like the guy who owened it before me really took good care of the truck.

Oil Filter Location?
I read how difficult the 5.4L oil filter change was, and feared trying my own oil change. Well, with the factory trailer towing package with the auxilary engine oil cooler, the filter is very accessible. I didn't evey need to raise the truck to get to the drain plug or filter.
