1995 5.0l F150. The truck seems to run fine when you start it up. Get it up to operating temp and start cruising with a light load and it will begin missing/bucking. Tap the throttle a bit, and it runs normal. WOT no problem.
Plugs, wire, cap, rotor are all relatively new. ~120K miles, the truck is pretty much in retirement. Only gets used for dump runs, hauling, and if it snows. However, the gas is fresh and even upped it to premium on the last tank with no real difference.
Any ideas for something common to look for? I'm wondering if it might be the pickup coil.
No, CEL or codes. TPS wires were bare and appeared to be shorting on a hose clamp, so TPS was replaced, made no difference
You could have a leak in the smog system, I had an '89 that developed the same symptoms and turns out the air pipe connecting the heads at the back was cracked and that caused the motor to run excessively lean and stumble particularly bad at highway cruising speeds.
