Hi all, I have a 03 F450 CC auto with 12ft flat bed and 4:88 rear end,
after Scangauge II installed I've been watching my deltas and this
is what I've been getting on flat run to town 40 miles with 100+ outside temps cold start are within 2deg allways, at warm idel wt172 - ot173
at 2500rpm 68mph wt206-ot220 and trip home wt213-ot229, I did the coolant complete flush and clean and got the same readings. pulling the camper up the mountains and not much different on the deltas, my ? is
would the size and design on my truck have any difference for the deltas
or will I be needing a oil cooler soon thanks
What did you do to flush? Did you use the Ford flush product? The way it looks if you did, that YES, it's gonna be soon to do a EGR cooler and engine oil cooler replacement.
I finally have the right formula for the Torque app (I think). I drove in the mountains - lots of 6% grades and am seeing about a 20 degree delta between ECT and EOT. Outside air temperature was 90 - 93.
At one point climbing a long hill, EOT climbed to 243, ECT was 215 or so.
