Well I found a 91 Bronco with a 5speed 5.0 in KY. I can pick it up for $250 but its gonna cost me over a grand to tow the thing back. Good body bad motor. Have to see what parts are going for on this thing first. Thanks for the input!
Keep a eye out for an F 250. Most will have the 5.8 with the ZF 5 speed. $1250 might buy a runner closer to you. Start asking at boneyards there has to be one near you somewhere.
I'm glad you have all these numbers available to you! lol
Actually, that information is the result of my own research into the manual swap in my 93. I have an undying loathing for the E4OD and "slushboxes" in general so I have done extensive scouring of the web and other sources to cull together information critical to performing the swap from auto to manual. As it turns out, the ZF (from behind a 300/302/351W) and the M5 are damned near identical in physical dimensions and mounting locations. Even the clutch slaves can be interchanged.

Let me tell ya, these things are near impossible to find in junk yards around here! I found plenty of 250,150,350 around but not many broncos. There was one bronco in the junk yards but now its gone. I just want a bronco to get the tail gate, top then turn it to a mud runner.

The F250/350s have the ZF transmissions in them, 250s have the small block pattern you'll need. They are basically the same from the door latch forward. Or you can use the M5 from a F150.
I used some of that krylon fusion paint for plastics and it color matched well to the existing charcoal grey. I think I bought it at Advance Auto and comes in most factory interior colors. If your stuff is in good shape I'd say remove, clean it up really good and spray bomb it. Should work till you find actual parts.

Looking like that's what I'm gonna have to do. Some jack *** tried to steal my audio system and busted my dash up a bit. Outher than that and the head liner sag all is in great shape, just ugly!!
