heck all them people in houston are half the reason the temp gets so high, hard to cool concrete buildings once the sun hits um!
No doubt, way too many people here. But some of them are my customers so I guess I can't complain too loudly. It will be nice to retire to somewhere where it isn't so crowded and maybe a little cooler. Not sure that I am ready for Alaska though...

I thought I'd just put this on here to remind us all about the heat our troops are putting up with in full BDU's everyday. It kind of brings things into perspective for us.
It was supposed to have a picture here??? It was showing a cartoon of a soldier lookin at a laptop that said you won't believe how hot it is in the U.S today and he was standing there with all his full uniform on and a backpack too. It wouldn't let me post it?? Oh well.

Yes, you are so right! I had a friend that was in Iraq where it routinely got to 140 plus! Wearing all that gear and in harms way. Perspective is sobering and really makes me feel like a whiner.
im already married to houston girl. she claims she from somewhere else tho. but her family keeps comming up to visit from houston area. well around there anyhow.
Imperial or US gallon? What's your per litre price?
Imperial gallon. I'm paying a $1.33/ liter at a card lock which is discounted, the in town price is $1.39.9/liter at the pump for 87 octane.
Driving to work is getting to be fairly expensive , 100 miles round trip

Missing close bracket on the pic
bizarre.. shows in preview mode.. not in final, uploaded separately
The forecast is calling for 104* here tomorrow. Looking at a possible record. Dry as a bone, too. Haven't needed to bother mowing the grass in a month. A nice, soaking rain and low 80's temps would be a welcome relief to the crops. Gas has slowly ticked down to $3.36 here at some stations. Others are still sticking it to us at $3.49.
