Howdy bronco crew
I know im a lil outta place posting here, I do have a 66 so been here before, but I know that some of these EBs are great modders, similar to the question I have.
It is time i get rid of my off-road FORD (79 F350 4x4 400M 4speed) and the trade coming in is a 79 CJ5 mod/rod off-roader. I have been a mudder for a good time now, and have lil experience in the trail/rock crawling.
I am looking for suggestions on the best quality of tire to accomplish the job. Size is not an issue, she'd fit 44 comfortably but plan on something about 35-38. Any help is greatly appreciated,
Keep calm and Drive on,
Boomer
(AND I'd rather keep that fantastic combo of a Ford, than the heep, but that's ME).
Just saw a 4X4 mag @ the prts store I wrk @. Depends on yer $ situation, how much U want an all round tire or straight mudder, American or foriegn etc. I wuz lookin 4 sompin different (specific 2 me) so didn't note another option. Lighting blew out the 'puter last nite & I'm not @ home..Try the 2 options I mentioned above or state more specifics in yer Q if wanting better responces,
Good luck, keep talkin
First thank you for the input. I'd really like to get my hands on crawler tires (something that can still stand up to wooded area with im sure some mud to get me to the rock trails and do work).
Ill keep updates on what i find used or new and get pictures of the new rig with specs, just cuz we all like pictures. Thanks again,
KCDO,
Boomer
I am of the same opinion, keep the F350 to drag the bronco to the the good stuff.
TSL Super Swamper Boggers with bead locks or Pit Bulls have a good rep.
Maxxis Creepy Crawler's have a even better rep.
Even my ol wore out 35" boggers sling mud and grab rock good enough for me.
