64 e brake

64 e brake

Looking to e-brake cables for a F100 long bed. I can only find short bed cabes. Any suggestions?

1964 F100 2WD: The front (C1TT-2853-AA ~ 80 3/4" long) & two rear cables ({2} C3TZ-2A635-D ~ 67 7/16" long) are the same. Short or long wheelbase makes no difference, so...

There is no such thing as short (or long) cables. What repro parts sellers catalog are you getting this BS info from, LMC's? If so, they haven't a clue, their catalogs are rife with errors and omissions.

I am confused on this. When I hook up the cables I am about 14 in short. You are sure there was only one size?

1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog ~ Text:

Section 26, Page 5: C3TZ-2A635-D .. Right & Left Rear Parking Brake Cables = 1964 F100 2WD

Section 28, Page 4: C1TT-2853-AA .. Front Parking Brake Cable = 1964 F100/250 2WD

Since I assume you didn't buy the above genuine Ford cables, as they're obsolete, where did you buy the replacement cables from?

If you had asked, I would have listed the sources for NOS (New Old Stock) genuine Ford: front cable (6 available) and rear cables (8 available).

I purchased them from LMC. Where do you suggest I buy the correct ones from?
