Didn't you originally put that list together? If you had a nickel for every time it's been posted you coulda had a nice steak dinner and a couple of drinks by now! Thanks, I think it's helped alot of people.
I installed the scangauge and took the truck for a drive. EOT topped out at 188 and ECT was at 190. Then I hooked up the trailer and took it for a spin. EOT topped out at 210 and ECT 208. Funny thing is every time it got to 210 I could hear and see(on scanguage) that the fan went up in rpms drastically. Just like it has in the past. This only confirms my suspicion that my truck is a female. Spend a few bucks on her and she is perfect. LOL. I think I may have jostled the wires enough, when I was checking stuff out that I corrected the problem. Well at least I am ready for the next time.
Wait till you go up a few good hills (read mountains)!! I just got back pulling my 30' fiver up in PA, NY and MA. I saw 230-238 EOT a number of times but when down on the flats it was running about 210 with ECT about 190. Always stayed with 8-12* running on the flats.
Fuel mileage really sucks in the mountains all the time tho.... $$$$$$$$$$$
