Ball Joint Saga
So original plan was to replace the ball joints tomorrow, but the weather guessers were call for rain all weekend so i decided to do it today. Got over to my buddies house and was it ever hot and humid out. Got the left front on jack stands and got the wheel off when the clouds started to roll in. ABout the time I got the heel hub off it started to sprinkle out a little. Before I could do anything else the skys opened up, I continued on
and got the spindle off. Well in the middle of trying to press the ball joints out the power went out. So I pressed the ball joints out in the dark and gave up till after dinner, if the power comes back on.
Here is an oddity, I have a Dana 50 axle, and it definatley has the heavy duty lower ball joint but the outer wheel bearing is for the lighter axle.
Well hopefully the right side goes better
