vacuum modulator

How hard is it to replace the vacuum modulator on the c6 transmisson? Is it just a matter of loosening the bolted flange holding it in place and putting another one on? Or is there special considerations?

I'm sure it's like a C4 in that you better watch out for the Exxon Valdez oil spill that's gonna come out when you pull it out! I was unaware of that when I replaced mine, it gave be a big surprise! LOL

EDIT: Exxon Valdez oil spill is how another user described it in another thread, I like the analogy so I stole it.

Should take about 72 seconds to pull and replace. And actually, unless you have a bad modulator and fluid is backed up the line or you over filled your fluid, you shouldn't have any fluid spill.
