Ok fella's, I will be looking for a bed for my 78 150 4x4 soon. It was changed over to a flatbed years ago , and now I want to take it back to original. So I am looking for a long bed, non tool boxed, with tailgate and complete.
I live in southern Indiana, so would have to be in driving distance for me. Show me what ya got as I will be ready before end of summer or sooner to get a hold of one. Your best bet IMO would be to get on the Craigslist and try to locate just a bed that way or get a complete truck, swap the flat bed over to it and resale it?
I checked Bloomington, Richmond, Tera Haute and you seem to have a pretty good # of 78/79's for sale, just a idea. Sometimes that's the cheaper route to go when looking for a bed.
I sold this one for $600 a while ago to a guy in southern Illinois.
Ever ck out this place in Indiana? Pricy... but he might be able to get you a rust free bed?
