Rumble strip shifting into overdrive
Hi, I've had this truck, 03 F250 SD 5.4 4r100, for about two weeks. Noticed the "rumble strip" sound and then it would jerk going up hills. Took it to the trans shop for some advice. OK, new plugs and coils, jerking is gone. The guy wasn't sure about the rumble (rattle) between 3rd and 4th. Free advice, I changed the plugs and coils, feeling pretty good abouy this truck. I don't think the rattle is life threatening, but I'd really like to know what it is. Has anyone else heard of this?
