Door Hinge Identification
Hey gang,
looking to see if anyone can help me identify these door hinges??
I picked them up at a local swap meet when I was collecting parts for my 56 f100 Crew Cab Project and the guy told me they were from either a 56 or 57 f100. I know for certain they are not 56 hinges ( I can identify them from a distance now that i have purchased several dozen of the 53-56 hinges since)
I have looked through some catalogs and the hinges vary from 57-60, 61-66 and 67-72.

1953/79 F Series truck door hinges
1953/56 F100/900 & COE (2 hinges): Right upper/lower same / Left upper/lower same.
1957/60 F100/1100 (1 hinge): Right upper/lower same. Left upper/lower: Reverse right side hinge pin.
1961/63 F100/1100 (2 hinges) Right upper/lower same / Left upper/lower same / These hinges do not have door checks. Ford replaced 'em with 1964/66 hinges.
1964/66 F100/1100 (4 hinges): Right upper-includes door check / Right lower / Left upper-includes door check / Left lower.
1967/72 F100/750 (4 hinges): Right upper-includes door check / Right lower / Left upper-includes door check / Left lower.
1973/79 F100/350 & 1978/79 Bronco (2 hinges): Right/left upper same / Right/left lower same.
'Course, since bought at a swap meet, who knows what they're from? Most swapmeeters are as clueless as ebay sellers.

So, if you waltzed into a dealer in 1964 and wanted a '61/63 hinge, you were SOL, cuz Ford had replaced 'em with '64 hinges (same '65/66).
The doors are the same 1961/66 F100/1100 (C1TZ-8120124-U right / C1TZ-8120125-V left) except Uni's (C1TZ-6620124-L right / C1TZ-6620125-L left).
Uni doors do not have the dogleg scallop line, but that's the only difference. Ford did not sell door shells with hinges. If peeps wanted doors with hinges, bought used.
And, Ford didn't offer door skins until 1968.

I still think we can eliminate the 61-63 hinges simply by looking at the bolting pattern on the 57-60 vs the 61-63 hinges where the hinge bolts to the door.
vs
the 57-60's pictured are alot more like the 53-56 hinges, but the hinge braceket assy is much taller vs the 53-56 hinges.
These 57-60 hinges will not go into the hinge receiver from a 53/56 f100.

so.... I broke out all my 53-56 hinges and started "really" looking at them.
ohh... these dont inclue the 8 already on my truck. Yes 8....
If you look at the pin location you can deduce the left/right orientation by where the top of the pin sits.
I guess you learn something new everyday.
Bill, You are THE MAN!!!!
I did however find one pair of hinges that were different than the others... the hinge box is a little longer than the rest of the 53-56 hinges I have. And the shape of the door post bolting flange is shaped different. The hinge pin is also a bit different.
Any ideas? Older?? aftermarket??
18 of the hinges I have (including the ones on the truck) look like the blue one (bottom hinge) and two look like the red one (top hinge).
