Map Sensor needed??
Hey fellas, Im in the process of cleaning all the smog out of my 84 Bronco (smog excempt in CA, cuz Im cool like that!). Im also upgrading from the 1 bbl carb to a Autolite 2100 2 bbl. Since I no longer have a computer controlled carb, do I still need the map sensor (E43F-9F479-B1A)?? It has a vacuum line from intake and the elec harness. I cant seem to think its needed. I also have the manual 4 speed trans, so no automatic shift. Thanks for any and all advice!
