6.0 SD TPS/APP voltage testing procedures?
Where can I find detailed procedures for testing the accelerator pedal position voltages and figuring out what is working? We have a 2003 F350 6.0 Super Duty Diesel. The truck starts but surges and sometimes dies while cold. We hooked up to OBD and it shows a P0122 code. We used the steps from a simple autozone repair guide but we don't think there is enough info. to troubleshoot the issue. It would be tough to replace the whole assembly just to find out that it isn't the problem.

This should get moved to the 6.0L section.
P0122 is not an APP code. I believe it is for the position sensor that is attached to the throttle in the intake elbow. This is something that was removed in later models.
