Headers help!
So....My rebuild continues to bring joy 
I ordered some JBA knockoff shorty headers off eBay just as listed (2004-2008) F 150 4.6, Problem is my truck is a 1998 4.6 Romeo (vin W) ....my bad.
How much trouble am I in? They seem to match up to the heads but I don't have the engine in yet so no idea if its the fit to the flange that'll screw me. any thoughts?

well if the flanges match the head they should work my only concern would be the collector flange where the exhaust pipe bolts on it may be a differnt angle or style of flange so if any thing might have to modify your exhaust pipes

I had to cut, fit and weld the right side header but it ended well. Headers are a bitch to put in what with the limited space behind the tubes. I ended up adding a couple of "slots" to make life easier but it looks good so far.
