My dad has a '79 black ford 4x4 with a 300 I6, we were out camping and one of his old friends who had a '99 dodge 4x4 with a 360 pulled up in someone elses truck asking for a phone to call a wrecker cause he was stuck. My dad said he would try to go pull him out, and the guy was like, no we have to call a wrecker you cant pull it out, Well, my dad backed up and they hooked the chain up, and my dad pulled him right out, and about 2 years later (a few months ago) after the dodge had some mud grips and about 8 inches of lift on it, we were out in out boat at a lake, and we had to get something out of the truck, and he came back by, and said he was stuck again. and my dad used his 8000lb warn winch up to him this time, and pulled him out 2 times.. This is why i think dodges got the same rep that Z71's got. I dont like either..
