Anyone using ALL DATA??
I was all set to subscribe to their individual vehicle program for a couple of my high mile Fords but ran into some problems.
I have access to the program where I work so I printed a couple of items for the wifes Expy since it's broke down but the info I got does not match the truck. One of the pins they list for the instrument cluster ground isn't even in the plug. Others are labeled power on one sheet and fuel low warning input on another. The fuse panel they show is labeled not used in locations where I have fuses. I only entered info for one vehicle and it was the right yr, model, eng, etc etc.
Anyone have any experience with All Data, good or bad?
Anyone using any other reasonbly priced programs?
Thanks,

The cd I got is identical to the FSM which I also have in print. My print version is only the engine/emissions/diagnosis but the cd has the complete set. I got at least one of them from AutoRepairManuals.com maybe it was both, been a while.
Speaking of the instrument cluster, I found in the CD version one of the connectors in the pinpoint test does not exist on mine (02). Section 418-00 Pinpoint Test N, N2 says to check resistance between instrument cluster C220A pin 7 and DLC C251 pin 3. Well my C220a does not use pin 7, that hole is empty and there are no unaccounted for wires. My print version does not have the cluster pinpoint test so I don't know if it's a mistake on the cd since I haven't been able to get anyone to look it up in the print version.

I didn't mean the cd has more than the print version. The cd is the complete set of manuals. I don't own the complete set of printed manuals , just the engine/emissions one. The engine /emissions part of the cd is identical to the engine/emissions printed manual.

FWIW, I had a Ford Diesel Tech come out to my house (friend of a friend) when I was having some wiring issues. He brought out his FSM wiring diagrams and I pulled out my Alldata diagrams and they were identical.
EDIT: I also like the fact that I can use Alldata no matter where I am. I have used it on my phone to diagnose issues before.

Everything I've seen on AllDataDIY are exact prints from the Factory Shop Manual which I also have on DVD. I've found that the AllData source is somewhat easier to search through and is a little more intuitively arranged than just the straight CD. I ended up signing up for 5 years on my vehicles.
At the same time, I have since seen a different system which seems to be even better arranged and more user friendly, but it is rather expensive (Helm Incorporated: Choose Product Category).

Thanks for the info guys. I had someone point out on a different thread that the Expedition XLT and other models have different wiring harnesses. I'm going to go back and see if I blew it when selecting my vehicle and if that was the reason for the differences.
Will look at Helm as well.
Thanks,
