Personally, I've never had dirty ones, and anyone I know that's had it done has never said it did anything. Either there was no improvement, or the mechanic screwed something else up along the way, or came up with some other reason for the owner to spend $'s on something he noticed while in there.

Is there a reason you want to do it?
WHE
Personally I have never cleaned any injectors or replaced. I use Amsoil PI once in a while if I suspect dirty injectors. Just my preference and I'm not going to get into a debate over a product. It works for me. If anything a warm fuzzy feeling that I did attempt to address the problem.
Chevron Techron in the gas. I don't baby the truck, am not afraid to get on it and bring the rpm up. IMO that helps to keep carbon and gunk at bay along with a cleaner every now and then.

Ditto on the Chevron Techron once in a while. Good stuff. Most brands of gas, ie Chevron, Shell, BP etc, are offering some sort of fuel system cleaner in the the gas. Just run some name brand gas through your engine every few tanks to maintain clean injectors.
What I did was to let them soak over night in injection cleaner. But it was a good thing i pulled them 2 of them had cracked hats and one looked like crap.

Nate, How many miles "did" you have on your injectors? Did you have any symptoms?
I think it's pretty pointless to clean them. The tolerances in the injector are so tight that if something were to get in it's going to be stuck open or closed. The only thing you're cleaning is the filter, if that is dirty the discharge pattern and flow won't be very good. I rebuilt mine after the o rings started falling apart, I got the kit from mr injector.com, filters/orings/pintle caps and it was pretty easy to do.
Well the truck has 233k and the reason was a last resort for a bank 1 running lean code and I decided to check them all out and replaced the ones that looked bad.
I run Sea Foam every 20k and seems to do a good job. I do use Chevron alot but not always. Costco now has a cleaner in their gas and I fill up there when I have a chance.
