I have a '06 F-250 5.4L. I'd like to add a second battery as a house battery. It looks like there might be enough room on the driver's side (where the second battery is located on the diesels).

Has anybody fit a second battery there by buying the bracket from a diesel of the same year?

I built a bracket for a drivers side battery on my 2006 5.4. Kind of a tight fit, but quite doable. I didn't even think about one for a diesel.
