Race Track Trim question?
Hey guys...
Well, I'm lucky enough to have the complete race track trim on my truck. I've removed it so I can paint the truck, but was poking around online and saw that this trim could be worth a little coin. My question is how much is a complete set (it's in good shape) worth?
I bought this truck as a project, and was planning on selling it before I go to college. BUT... if I can find a way to recoup my money without parting it out, I want to keep the truck. I already sold the topper that was on it for $100, so I need to somehow get $800 more out of this truck somehow in order to keep it. How much is this trim worth?

I don't have any better pics right now, but it's this:
I'm not sure if it's called the "Race Track" trim, but I thought that's what it's called. It has that small strip along the bottom too. And it's complete.

All depends on condition, If I were to guess maybe 200-300.00 like most race track trim the lower ones and the bed is full of rock dents...
Its all being repoped now its a little spendy but it fits nice, Get much over that price and it wont sell unless you do it in pieces...I need the passenger side bed lower...Its 200.00 of coarse its the only extra piece I dont have....3 trucks worth of trim in my garage.
But I'd tell you to keep it and put it back on they look so nice with that trim, Its one of the things that makes these trucks stand out from the crowd!
Just make sure the paint guy has it for the tape lines.
And yes it called race track trim.

yep, I'd like to find a set (for much cheaper than what kobalt said) for my lifted 4x4 (don't remeber the year off the top of my head) it's gettin a 78/9 grille though...
I like the race track trim, but i hate the trim at the same time, as it causes rust. my 78' bronco's got a complete set of it, but i'm swapping the doors off of it onto my 2wd 78' (there much to nice for my bronco lol) the 78' 2wd doors will then be getting some minor welding repairs, and have the racetrack trim refitted..
