Then there is the issue that the original dash is actually pretty small when you start to count all the switches you might need! Originally this car had something like four buttons and now have to fit more than double that.
for wiper/washer I will use the early 70´s broncos switch that has both functions, saves one spot for something else. And there is the problem that my driveline is 24V and all the lights etc will be 12V and then I wanna use the original 6V gauges...what a mess!!
I decided to use 12V alternator and a change-over switch that is used in Zetor tractors. Basically you are using everything wit 12V but when you start the car the switch cuts out everything else and uses both batteries to make 24V for the starter. These where pretty expensive years ago, about 1200usd but now you can buy the for 30usd from Estonian webshop. This helps me with the original gauges that I can use with the voltage reducer 12 to 6 volts.
For extra switch-panel I wanted to make something "round edged" under the dash. I have no fabricating tools to make round corners so I bought a 4" home deposit box from local market. It has the perfect size for 3 switches and nice, round corners...cost about 10 dollars.
I'm not sure how your setup works but back in my demo car days we would use 2 12 volt batteries to get 24 volts to the starter and run the electrical off of the first battery at 12 volts .

that was my plan in the beginning but one electrician said that it kills the other battery if connected that way? Might lasted a long time still cause this is driven in summertime mostly😊
All the bodywork has been done for a while now. It has even been painted...BUT now when I`ve been looking this color, I dont like it
So we are going to change the color one more time next month. I am going to go matt red and try to sand it to look patina, not easy
I was suppose to get this done and registered this year...but noway its gonna happen!!!! Next year our DMV charges 400e (440usd) because I have changed a gasoline engine to diesel!!! This is because of the "green" thinking that is going on! If I would use electric, natural gas or ethanol no extra charges
To figure out how to make the rear look good is not easy. Been trying to google every coe-truck that is on the web
I am going to keep it simple and just install old Ford STOP-taillights under the frame rails and maybe small airtank under the rear crossmember. So it will look like a semi tractor And make a hatch to the airtank so I can store cargostraps etc in it
Do you guys have any ideas what would I use to cover the frame? Dont want to use sheetmetal cause thats what everybody uses

Rear fenders are another headache because the dual tyres!
Was going to use old pickup stepside fenders or similar. But these 7.50-16 tyres are too big to look good in them.
Then I realised that model A Ford rear fenders have good arch, that goes with these truck tyres
Tried to Find two used pairs from Finland but that didnt work out. One there and another somewhere else, bad shape and expensive!!!
so I ended up getting two new pairs and we are going to fabricate dually fenders out of these.
They are a bit heavy so have to make HD brackets so they dont break up at first run
Fenders are now ”narrowed” and attached together👍🏻. A lot harder than I thought😬. It didnt help that they were not exactly identical (left and right)🤦🏼♂️
