The black grill, a Sport model, is cool. Starting bid is $35, but I doubt it'll go that low.

Another clueless ebay seller = Item # 140773265093

NOS 1980-1986 1987/91 F150/350 & Bronco Black Aluminum Grill Brush Guard = E9TZ-8307-D (replaced: E7TZ-8307-D).

Item # 300724448541 1982-1986 NOS Dark Charcoal Grill with Ford emblem E3TZ-8200-H (replaced: E2TZ-8150-C).
E3TZ-8200-H (replaced E2TZ-8150-C in 1983) .. Grille-Dark Charcoal / Obsolete

LAST MSRP: $96.33 // Dealer net cost: $57.80.

BAYER FORD in Comanche TX has 1 = 325-356-2777.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 17 = 800-543-4959.
---------------------------------------------------------
And another clueless ebay seller!
NOS item: (Brand new Am/Fm Cassette Radio chassis for a 1986 RANGER!
E6TZ-18806-C .. AM/FM Multiplex-Cassette Tape-Stereo Radio Chassis / Original application: 1986 Ranger.

This is not a Ford dealer installed kit, it's just the chassis (basic part number: 18806). Does not include: antenna, mounting bracket(s), feed wire, instruction sheet or speakers.

Dealer installed radio kit basic part number: 18805.

Most ebay sellers haven't a single clue inre to Ford part numbers/applications, cuz they have no Ford parts catalogs!

Research before buying, so y'all won't buy the wrong parts that clueless ebay sellers may not take back: The 1980/89 Ford LIGHT Truck Parts Catalog is available on a CD from hipoparts.com.

Just to be clear here, Bill (ND) is not accusing 1986F150six or Coneynew or anybody else here of being clueless eBay sellers, he's just pointing out the misinformation in those eBay ads.

Are you sure of that? I'm pretty sure he's calling me "clueless" right now given the PM I just sent him re A/C box "dum-dum" and aluminum wheel "wheel ornament anchors". And, you know, in comparison to him I am clueless.

I think Bill could make a fair salary examining trucks. I'd pay for an hour of his time to walk through and list all the things wrong/swapped/poorly rigged.

Coney- have you considered an FM Modulator? Not sure if you have a particular reason against them, but it's cheaper than that HU you posted.

I, for one, appreciate the wisdom shared by Mr. NumberDummy and all others who try to shed light with the rest of us forum members.

And Chris, you do a great job as moderator.

Thanks, man! Need to spread the love so I'll say that out here.

I think most of us here appreciate Bill (ND) probably more than is said out loud. Us other guys here who have the parts catalog know how much time & work it can take to find things in it and look up availability for people, and we all ultimately learned from The Mastah himself.

He might grumble at me now for giving him kudos like this, he doesn't like this and says he prefers a simple Thank You from the OP.

Office? Is there an official position for driving out to your GarageMahal while you feed me, give me a place to sleep, and show me the highlights of Podunk, OK?

If I'm not mistaken, that was to 1986F150six and was questioning his purpose in ...... buttering up you two.

And, btw, it was Podunk you got lost in. Skiatook isn't large enough to qualify as Podunk. If you Google Podunk you find several places, but Google Skiatook and there's only one.

Well, in my mind, it's still Podunk. Women at the gas station i stopped at in Ponca (I think) to ask directions had never heard of Skiatook, it was after my conversation with them that I first called you. Luckily, you had lived right near whwre I was, told me about the body of water on the left and everything.

So, to me, Skiatook is either Podunk or BFE.

I'll take Podunk 'cause I'm afraid to ask what the other is.
