Well, on older Fords it was pretty easy. Just unplug the connector at the base if the inboard seat belt mount. The car always thought is was latched. Don't know about the newer ones since I always wear the belts.
Check your owner's manual as I seem to recall that the pickups allowed for re-programming by the owner for this purpose.
On my 04 F250 my buddy got my buzzer to quit and we also read in the 2011 worktrucks owners manual how to make the buzzer quit and got it but it isn't in the escapes owners manual. Might have to do some experimenting.
