Just looking for anothers take on Moog brand parts. Does the extra cost justify there quality. I'm needing to rebuilt my front end and there is a big price difference(atleast to my wallet) between Moog and other brands.
You'll have to weigh the cost savings of buying cheap parts with the potential aggravation of having to do the job again. In most circumstances I would opt for the quality parts.
Check out www.rockauto.com; they are a site sponsor and seem to have the cheapest prices around.

I have never heard of anyone having trouble with Moog parts before. My local allignment shop recommended AC Delco. But I don't believe they are any better than Moog.

I know that Monster-4 had a bad set of Moog balljoints, but IIRC they replaced them and he still swears by Moog parts.
I tried some Moog tie rod ends in my truck. The driver side started popping in 4 months. Even my old worn out stock one didn't make noise like that. I've since moved on from Moog.
Rock Auto does have a nice selection at good pricing though.
I was hoping some people would chime in with there experiences with Moog. Up until now, I havnt heard of any problems good to know. The only Moog parts I run so far are there ball joints. So who makes the best tie rod?
I went to NAPA and got their heavy duty tie-rod ends. There was a visible difference in the driver side outer when compared to the moog. If you look around, you'll find several brands that have a service grade and a professional or HD grade.
They are more money, so the question becomes what is your labor worth? Most of them have some ridiculous warranty like lifetime or a million miles or something. (of course the alignment isn't free after the swap.)
