New to Ford

I'm new to the ford market and I'm looking at buying a 2002 F-250 2 wheel drive diesel with 140,000 miles on it. I was wondering if they all came with the 7.3 or if some of them have the 6.0 in them. I've been told to stay away from the 6's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not an expert but `03 seems to be the change-over year so you should be safe enough with `02.

02has the 7.3 02 was the crossover, with early 03's getting the 7.3 and late 03's getting the 6.0.
7.3 powered 03's are very rare to see for sale.
