i have a 1979 bronco it has a np 205 transfer case and i went to get warn lock out hubs for it but when i went to install they would not go far enough in to get the inner snap ring on i pulled the axle out as far as it would go but it wasn't enough i just needed a hair more. has anyone else ran into this problem before it has for lock outs now that are ford lock outs

 

when getting the new aftermarket hubs do you have to use the old snap ring im just very confused on this because it should work no problem
