ok so i just got my code reader a few days ago and finally got the chance to plug it in. i got 2 codes. the first to come up was 629 which is converter clutch solenoid circuit fault or lock-up solenoid circuit fault. i expected to find a code for my tranny because i have an e40d and its having problems. i changed my fluid and filter and it didn't help much. anyone know how i can begin solving this? where the sensors are? how i can tell if they're bad? my second code was 542 for fuel pump secondary circuit fault..which again i expected something with my fuel pump because the guy that had it before me wired it straight to the fuse. but anyways if you can help me get started with my transmission itd be greatly greatly appreciated.
