Ted sure is a wacko! But, I still like him. I wish he would come over to my house and kill these lousy groundhogs and cook them for me. As for NRA president, maybe not.
Are people not allowed to have an opinion anymore? Or is that just the white male? I am pretty sure if a black man was up for some position similar to the NRA president and called a white guy a cracker there would be no fuss.

I don't see it as a free speech or freedom to express one's opinion issue. It is having the common sense of knowing when and where to excercise those rights and freedoms, and when to keep it to yourself or inner circle.
rikfish , have you been lucky enough to hear rap on the radio? I dont agree with the messages they put out to the public. But maybe its just the fact that the rap industry is predominantly black. I dont really remember a big deal anyone has made about any anti-white or anti-women opinions in their songs? that would be considered racism.
It is pathetic to even have to address this issue, but I have long been a lightening rod for idiots. Anyone who has done but a modicum of research about me knows that I possess an irreverent, outrageous and deeply bouyant sense of humor. Moreover, throughout my 40 year career in the media, I have constantly praised the long list of black musical influences that shaped me as a young musician and continue to inspire me today. Furthermore, I have hired blacks and Mexicans to play in my band. Yet I’m a racist? I’ll admit I’m a racist when you admit that one plus one equals seventeen. Shock and awe that.
If you’re waiting for an apology, I suggest you pack a lunch.
I used to be a frequent listener to the Lewis & Floorwax show, but I have grown tired of the running boobzilla skit and rarely tune in anymore.
My opinion of the show, they will jump through any hoop that creates publicity for themselves in a humble, yet self serving manner.
I don't see what was so offensive? I guess people just like to play the race card. Perhaps we all should be able to speak our minds however arrogant and ultimately ignorant it may be about race, because it seems from my experience that it's a big monster that mostly everyone suppresses in this country because we all know it's wrong. But both black and white know that the predominance of the other race usually carries some kind of predisposition (due mostly to culture) that we don't understand and for that reason may be a little intolerant of. For example white people and their friggen designer coffee's, and then ethnic groups and their 500 dollar timberland boots. It can be hard for one group to understand the other because of different culture and that creates a divide and ultimately as sad as it is a "prejudice".............Prejudice is a natural thing, it is ingrained in the human brain (black or white) but today we have enough sense to know it's wrong regardless of whether or not we can totally eliminate it from our being. For example, I have a friend who is Puerto Rican and we both discuss stereotypes (i.e. I'm a redneck) openly and ultimately laugh in the end about it. If it weren't so suppressed I believe we could discuss it openly and learn to appreciate the different cultures in our society............ Knowledge and understanding is the key to peace.
hope what I said didn't offend and I hope it makes sense.
How many of you are aware of this. It is up for renewall and it looks like both houses are gonna vote to renew. I hope Bush vetoes but I don't think he wants to take the heat from the left, so I think he'll cave. We'll see. Cross your fingers.
