Overheating issues

It's be nice to see the oil temp. My coolant gauge rises to about 3/4 on occasion but until the oil temp reaches over 245° nothing really happens.
Does it not cool down after the fan kicks in?
Are you in warranty? One possible strategy is to hammer it hard enough to actually break something, then it gets fixed on fords warranty and the problem might be solved at that point.
