coolent capacity

Im fixin to flush and refill my coolent and add a filter i think our system holds 22qts 5.5 gallon but want to double check my trucks a 96 7.3 thanks

I think it's 8 gallons.

Your prolly rite i thought i read some where in the obs it was less than a newer 7.3 but then thats y im askin so i know how much to get

Yep, maybe a little less. I put 4 gallons of antifreeze with sca additive in it first then topped off with distilled water. Mine held about 7.5.

C thats y i like this site i can call on the experts and not have to go back for more supplies cause i would have been wrong thanks guys

Yep. They say it still holds ~2 gallons when you drain the radiator, hoses, block plugs, etc then I was able to put in 4 gallons of charged coolant and about 2.3ish gallons of distilled water.

Thank i plan to do mine in a week or so and put in fleet charge and put a filter on as well
