They have flat black. That does not work with tuxedo black

I was told by AMI to get the flat black if I was going to have it painted but the body shop wanted about $100 to match the Tuxedo black paint. They (AMI) told me the gloss black is close but would be noticable against the Tuxedo black so I went polished chrome to match with the other chrome stuff on the truck.

The perimeter screws are for show only. There are four studs holding the frame with the screws in.

I think these look great and I would like to put one on but...... If you have an HPFP failure and Ford does not warranty it I don't think your INS company will pay a vandalism claim. Ford will say bad fuel and you can't have any possibility of vandalism. IE someone putting water in your fuel!

Just a thought!
