Your old family photos

You know you've got 'em. Break 'em out and show off your younger self!

I'm happy to say I still play...

Sean... that is the type of family my mom wanted with my sister and I as kids. She had us take piano and violin lessons. We both had no talent, even the teachers told her so.
But I did learn to drive my dad's beach buggy at Pismo at a young age. Mom was not too impressed.

Dave we did take her along. Once we built our more comfortable Meyers Manx. She would go to Pismo, Glamis, and several times to Baja. She became a real trooper. That is a neat picture of your mom enjoying your ATV. Randy

Didn't know you're a Bassman, Sean I'm an "F" clef guy too, or at least I was in '74

This is about as close as I can get for an old family pic, don't have any of my mom or sister scanned:

The mighty Owls of the Rivera Baseball Association. I think we won 1 game that year, and it was by forfeit. Standing next to my dad in the back row on the right, wearing a non-regulation Brown belt...which, believe it or not, I actually got booted from a game for wearing. I'm still looking for that ump.

Great pics guys, keep 'em coming.

Talent has nothing to do with it, just fun having the experience!

Say, I recognize the tread pattern on those rear tires - BFG bias ply trackers? Is that San Felipe in the 2nd pic? I remember driving down there a few times to fish, camp and my favorite (light M80's).

You'd be surprised how fast reading music comes back - I had a 5 year lapse and it popped right back into place (despite all the lost brain cells).

I see you eventually got taller than your dad - nothin' like hybrid vigor!

Sorry, seed guy speak...

Doh, you had lamb chops in high school? - man, only the coolest of cool had those in EC!

Sean... I am lucky to have friends that play instruments and they do have a lot of fun like you said.
In the first pic not BFG tires, but 1967 Gates Commando 11-15 bias ply tires. Maybe later BFG bought the molds? Good eye in the 2nd pic... although not San Felipe we were close about 40 miles northeast of it. That mountain in the picture background does look like the one in San Felipe now that you mentioned it. Stayed and camped in San Felipe a couple of times. Always had a great time and those M-80's back then did make a very BIG boom. Needless to say they were my favorites too.

Really, you had to go there? Pops promised us that one day we would each have our own room. Growing up poor was just the way of life. But Pop's kept his word.

Wow no one cares for my family photo. It's not often we're at the same place at once. Good thing, I use a different travel agency then my brothers. I think they use "CDC Travel Agency" suppose to be good, they claim they can get you into places in California that other Travel Agencies can't. I'll stay with my agency.
