I got a 2006 f450 with egr delete that has a long crank and when it fires it seems to run fine but when you drive down the road the turbo just screams and it doesn't go more than 15 mph and it will shoot air back through the intake if you try to romp on it. I'm not sure where to start there's no codes. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Start with cleaning the turbo and exhaust back pressure valve/tube. Check the MAP sensor tube for plugging. Also check the CAC tubes/boots for splits and the turbo air system for leaks while you have the turbo out. There is a cleaning procedure posted in the 6.0 tech folder.
