My truck needs tires and I'm debating getting a new set of wheels at the same time. I don't want any "bling bling shiny chrome" wheels, just something with a clean utilitarian look that have a little better offset than the factory wheels and sit more flush with the body, and cheap. I'm just going to be putting a leveling kit on the truck so i don't want anything huge either. What would you guys recommend for wheels, tires, and sizing for something like that without breaking the bank? This is for an 2001 f-250
I'm looking for something kind of like this style. This is obviously bigger than I want to go, but you get the idea
with a leveling kit and being on a budget, i would go with 16x10 MT Classic 2's, with whatever 33x12.50 or 35x12.50 tires you like. not quite sure on what offset you want, but i believe -12mm puts the wheels just a hair outside of the fender on your year truck.
others will chime in that know more, ask cartmanea(sp?) he seems to know lots and lots about wheels and offsets and whatnot. great info on here.
16" or 17" in my opinion, probably more tire size options with the 17". As stated above, a 33 or 35" tire. Personally, if you're doing the leveling kit, I'd go with the 35's.
The wheels on that truck look similar to the Eagle Alloy's (058's)
