I just installed performax, (8) total. They are really nice. They daisey chain together on the same three wires. You can just unplug them and move them around if your not sure of where you want them. The lighting is great, way better than the stock lighting, I think the EV-2 are the same. I don't have any experience with those. The advantage is you can run up to 17 on those three wires so you don't have a big bundle to deal with under the dash. Other guys will jump in with info so just wait a little while. Both are nice and have cool features. Customer service is real good. You can buy them from Riff Raff Diesel, great customer service there to.
Both are great. If you want multiple gauges the Performax is nice since you mount the ESP (brain box) under the hood and the few signal wires all go to the gauges via daisy chain. With the EV2's you run a wire bundle from each sender to each gauge. Not a big deal for 90% on those installing gauges. If you feel you will go gauge crazy, you may consider the Perfomax series.
Yeah......I DID have Isspro gauges till last week when someone decided they wanted them.....break in time.. Anyway, I have a choice of the two and yes I will be buying them from Clay.
Sorry for your bad luck, was just wondering. Maybe since you have the senders already there, they are still there right? You should use the same product line, unless you want to expand on what you had.
Performax offers peak recall, data logging, ease of install, easy to move and change... They will have the programable warning lights, there in now, just still testing the software so the end user can adjust them...
EV-2 offer the warning lights and the programing software is complete for them now. They are not quite as easy to install, as all the wires have to go to the gauge, but there no harder and really slightly easier then most standard gauges.

.
Is this only for the new EV-2 gauges, or can my approx 2 year old ones be programmed?
I run performax gauges. If I was to do it again, I would run a mechanical boost gauge. The electronic sensor isnt quick enough to pick up surge and is delayed.
