the recent threads about replacing the shocks got me to thinking...
I saved some replacement shocks off my 2005 excursion that I never used...
would they fit my 2012 250 4x4 and more importantly would they be better than the stock shocks ?
Just google the part number, maybe you can get specs from ranchos site, maybe the rancho guy will see your thread.
Take one off your truck and see? I suppose the critical figures are compressed length and extended length. All you need to know if the mounting brackets are the same.
Get some real Rancho shocks and don't look back. I replaced FX4 shocks with 9000XL's and the steering stabilizer also with the Rancho single stab (5100 shock). It is quite a difference! I just had my first tow this last weekend with the new shocks and they performed beautifully!
Just got my $100 debit card rebate from Rancho also
Good point about checking Amazon also; when I bought my shocks 4wheelparts had an extra sale going on so they were the best price around at the time (plus I paid no shipping since they are local). Shop around!
