If you are scrounging around for some heads to get your 351w going again, and stumble across some 302 heads, you can use them, or as in this case, some aftermarket heads on a 302.
One note on Ford heads. There is really no left or right head, until the factory opens the smog port on the back of the heads, then there becomes a left and a right(unless you plug the port). If you get the wrong head on the wrong side, you will suddenly find your smog pump ports on the front of the engine.
Well I am going to build another wheezer for my sons truck. I am trying to find the cheapest way to go with the performance build. I have access to 2 different blocks and both of them are .030 over right now. I have a crank or two that needs to be turned. I have other misc parts like connecting rods and maybe a performer and an E'brock carb.
I have a set of the factory smog heads ,but, they really limit the HP. I dont know how long my boy will be employed this summer so I am trying to get a go fast motor together for him as cheap as possible.
Sorry I am so late to the party. Been tending to Dad is my only excuse. Bruno - If you haven't bought I suggest you contact

He's the guy that came in 6th nationally on the Amsoil Engine Challenge. Works out of his garage in BA. Got better flow on my heads with a simple valve angle cut than I did with porting. Here's his CL post:
