head gasket question

So my 91 f150 has been lacking power for a long time. I was lazy and did not look at the cause. Well now I have found a very small amount of wendys frosty in my oil. Not sure how long the head gasket has been leaking. But will it hurt my engine to drive it with water in the oil? I'm fixing this weekend.

When a head gasket lets go all the crap(rust flakes, grit, dirt) from the cooling system mixes with the oil and scores the bearings and covers the inside of the engine.Yes it looks like a Wendys frosty, but drain the pan to verify.Even if you change the oil it'll still get contaminated again very quickly.Hate to say it but the damage is done before you realize the gasket's done.If you keep driving it,it will get worse. Now you could replace the head gaskets and then clean out the engine by running seafoam and a couple of oil/filter changes while you hunt for a replacement engine. The life/reliability of the old engine is greatly reduced although it probably will still run(if you also change the plugs)
