2004 Hub Assembly Question

This past weekend I installed a new hub assembly on the left side (drivers side) of my 2004 F150 4x4. The installation went very smooth, however, when finished I of course test drove it, and it feels like the drivers side front wheel is stuck in 4x4. It's really tight when cornering and the most simple way I can describe it is it's like driving in 4x4 on dry pavement. I've tried putting it in and out of 4x4 (manual transfer case) and it continues to stay "locked in" If any of you have experienced a similar situation please provide some help. in the meantime i'll be putting the old hub assembly back on until I can figure out a solution. I've torqued all the bolts and nut to manufacturers spec. 148 ft-lb. and 20 ft-lb respectively. Any information would be very helpful.

Thank you,

Nick
