This is the reason you won't find my on a motorcycle. You just can't account for other drivers on the road, and on a bike, there's not much protection.

Damn, that's horrible! Sorry to hear about your friend Rick. And, from what the article says, there are several still in critical condition. I've never heard of an accident like this in which 10 motorcycles are hit by one vehicle. Usually, a group of motorcycles increases the protection because of the group I would think.
